With almost forty states having Statewide No Smoking Policies in effect for public workplaces, how do you control where people smoke? 

Many companies have adopted the idea of designated smoking areas outside the building.  The reason why this has been so successful is because the company makes the ultimate decision. You can inform your employees where they can and cannot smoke. This allows for the location to be controlled by the company and not the workers.
